You have to wonder if Joey McGuire and Texas Tech playing a more competitive schedule this season - perhaps a robust and varied independent slate? - would have better prepared them for the Orange Bowl.

I was working a stock room job at the old B&N off Union Square (near 5th and 18th) in 02 or so.
Leaving work, a familiar looking balding middle aged WM almost bumped into me, and I, having a bad day, just kind of mean mugged him.
As we went our separate ways i realized... It was John Malkovich.
