I made an Old Fashioned-like drink today using rye instead of bourbon and maple syrup instead of simple syrup and a pinch of salt and orange twist. It ended up being decent.
Need to dial in the portions but it's alright.

My Pierce County transit bus is a few minutes late. My 6 minute transfer becomes a 1 hour layover in Lakewood. 3 hour journey becomes 4+ 😭
Speaking at a the Places conference in Gig Harbor and I don't drive. So, I guess I am liveskeeting my 3 hour 3 bus oddeseg from Seattle. There is a direct(ish) bus but only 3x and at night
