I kept saying in 2022 that leaving Pu's anachronistic, age-of-empires conquest to fester, pretending Ru has security concerns rather than imperialist goals, and drawing shallow parallels to the US Iraq war, which made Pu's land grab appear to be less of a watershed, will backfire.
