What Martinelli did was stupid, potentially harmful and unacceptable. Also unacceptable is the fact that a pundit, Gary Neville, who did not have the (flimsy) excuse of being caught in the action, thought that Liverpool players should have given him a beating and said so live on TV.

What a second half that was from Arsenal. We had to improve, we really did, and this felt like something of a statement.

Someone was due a proper beating, and to do it against the form team in the league is really important. Give us distance over Villa and Man City.

We needed this, huge win!

How to buy yourself a needy malignant narcissist? Just offer him a phony, made up "Peace Prize" & he's all your's!!!
No need for a formal ceremony as he'll snatch from the box & put it on all by himself. Both laughably pathetic AND pathetically laughable. 🤡 🫣

What an obsequious, toadying, servile, brown-nosing, corrupt little cunt Gianni Infantino is.

The FIFA 'peace prize' is the most cringe-worthy, pathetic thing I've ever seen in my life.

Football deserves better than this travesty of a ceremony and ruling body.

A big win for people more outraged by a silly edit at the BBC than by a man impeached by Congress for literally inciting an insurrection being back in the White House. Pathetic.

Reform UK, which has a grand total of four MPs, was just given an uninterrupted platform for an hour and a half on the BBC and Sky News channels, in order to talk about its plans for mass deportations

When was the last time the Greens (with four MPs) or the Lib Dems (with 72) were given the same?

Pleased for the Utd fans today - zero points, zero goals after spending over £200m on a new attack… but they got to sing “Same old Arsenal” about three dozen times.

Whatever makes you happy ❤️

Live Aid was utterly mesmerising. Watched every second completely rapt. To a teenager 40 years ago it felt (maybe naively) that people could try to change all the shit in the world through music and togetherness and bloody minded will power and generosity. As a moment in time it was beautiful. X
