Of particular note is the "strongly oppose," a mere 32%. That's the GOP's hardcore base, whose views should be ignored for purposes of Dem strategy.

Every single person who might possibly vote for a Dem either supports abolishing ICE or doesn't care much if it happens.
New poll — Abolishing ICE continues its historic surge of support.

46% support
43% oppose

80% of Democrats and 15% of Trump voters support abolishing ICE.
Independents are +8 on the question.

(norman rockwell guy) i don't think we should replace human tutors with the lying robot that tells children to kill themselves
We want to make sure tutoring isn't the preserve of a lucky few, but accessible to every child who needs it.

AI can help us do that.

Safe, personalised, one-to-one learning support to help every child achieve and thrive.

It’s so heavy when you are going to get groceries and you find a car sitting with its windows broken out and it’s empty but still running and someone’s stuffed animals or pictures or papers are just laying all over the road. I have personally seen at least five of these in the last three days alone
ICE's decision to just leave cars abandoned in the roads is one of those dystopian things that makes you recoil in shock when you encounter it.
A legal asylum-seeker who works at Chipotle and plays music at a church in Maine went missing. His pastor searched and searched, eventually finding his abandoned car with the keys on the floor.

ICE grabbed him. No criminal record. No explanation.

Federal agents cornered Marimar Martinez, shot her several times, boasted about it, arrested her, lied about her to the public and in the police report, and falsely charged her with assaulting them.

Now the government wants to keep evidence of their lies secret to protect these agents' "privacy."
DeWald cites "privacy interests" for an "agent number 3" and his body worn camera as one of the govt's concerns over making the case material piblic, among other issues.

Speaking of children not being able to walk to school, ICE agents are snatching kids off the streets of Minneapolis (and St. Paul!) and parents are having to form patrols to guard against kids getting abducted at pick-up and drop-off.
Gov. Landry: "I like to ask Democrats if they like their communities to be dangerous or safe. Do they want their children to be able to walk to school or do they want to worry if they send them on the sidewalks, that unfortunate violent things are going to happen to them?"

One OPD officer logged 5,242 total working hours, racking up $490,000 in overtime pay. If he worked more than half of the time in a calendar year, why can't the city tell us what he did?

A key tactic of the Trump regime is 1) accusing others of doing what they are doing themselves and 2) claiming they want what's best for people. These serve a purpose: they camouflage the regime's crimes and a invent a means for supporters to ignore reality and overlook their own complicity.

It’s weird how the “if you haven’t done anything wrong then you don’t have anything to worry about” crowd is trying to illegally shield what they’re doing from journalists who are acting 100% within their rights and the law.
We’re just not a free country.

Any American watching this play out between regime forces and journalists overseas would recognize it for what it is.

This is still a conservative estimate from direct deaths with verified remains. It also doesn't include deaths from disease, starvation, and other causes that were indirect. The death toll is likely 3-4 times as high.

Even with that, this is still 3% of the total population killed.

It is a strategy that knows no moral boundaries; consider, even as ICE *kidnaps children* they place the blame on the parents, and position themselves as the caretakers. It is the way of debased scoundrels, precisely what we are dealing with.
If you aren't familiar with what DARVO is, get familiar with it. "Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender." The govt is relying on DARVO as a tactic on a national scale, and it is also increasingly a conservative tactic to attack outspoken critics of their ideas, theories, & renderings of history.

Under Obama, the US increased security assets along the US-Mexico border, including patrols and drones. Few who demand "border security" cared.

Now if they’re being used to bail out companies, bomb poor countries, or give billionaires more money— fuck that.
