Had a stomach bug for a couple days. I’m finally rejoining the world. Since I could barely look at my phone, I didn’t check Bluesky much.
Every time I popped on it was like one of those cinematic visions of a coming apocalypse that flashes by too quickly to comprehend.

I realized one of my underlying concerns about AI and how we talk about resisting it is that it’s a new form of old problems.
Like, I’ve heard people say that AI shouldn’t be used for VO because studios could just have staff do VO to save costs.
But that already sucked and avoided paying actors.

I’m dreading this present/future of trying to avoid projects that use AI devolving into basically everything using it anyway and navigating all of that criticism and not having the mental energy to figure out “good AI” vs “bad AI” when the slippery slope hits that point.

Picked up Marvel Cosmic Invasion to play with my wife and kid. Played with my daughter this morning.
She loved swinging as Spider-Man. And only swinging. She refused to punch!
I was playing characters who couldn’t fly, so I was begging her to attack and help me out 😂

Got my Land of Eem deluxe box set finally, and I can’t wait to play this. So much fun crammed into hundreds and hundreds of pages. It weighed a ton.

I spent 20 minutes on Marvel Rivals when it first dropped, but I’ve dipped back in and I’m having a blast as Emma Frost.

Watched the 2007 Bridge to Terabithia. A favorite book, but I hadn’t seen this movie.
Robert Patrick puts in such a fantastic performance as a dad. He’s the kind of father you’ve seen in a million coming of age movies, but Patrick is serving up nuance and authenticity. He’s all in for the movie.
