Here’s where I convince you that I’m legit. I am, indeed, legit. Shitlib. Misanthrope. Obscure 1990’s movie criminal. Dark Brandon acolyte. Blocked by David Klion, David Sirota, Hunter Walker, and Helen Lewis.

I wonder if MAGA realizes how many “normies” are turning ACAB after seeing shit like this day after day?
WGN, this woman’s employer, is now reporting she was not charged with any crimes and was released.

DHS said earlier she was arrested for assault for throwing objects at agents.
If you thought they would stop with immigrants you weren’t paying attention.
"[DHS] is expanding its efforts to identify Americans who oppose Immigration and Customs Enforcement by sending tech companies legal requests for the names, email addresses, telephone numbers and other identifying data behind social media accounts that track or criticize the agency."

You know, even though I know a lot of dead people, the Rock and Roll lifestyle takes no prisoners, it’s still a little odd when I hear that another one’s gone.

Amazing that the worst people in the Democratic center and the worst people on the poseur-populist left have teamed up Voltron-style to foist this fraudulent silver spoon fake-fisherman nazi on the electorate.

Mamdani runs a city of 8 million people.

Crockett won elections to represent 184K people in the TX House, and 788K people in Congress.

Platner, the article's star, dropped out of college, grows oysters for his mom's restaurant, and is on the Planning Commission in Sullivan, ME. Population 1,200.

Imagine centering the dude with the Nazi tat who has never won an election, while ignoring Michelle Wu, the only mayor of Boston in history to run for re-election unopposed.

Kind of a feckless and inept editorial choice.
A base that has long made pragmatic, sober decisions appears increasingly attracted to charismatic outsiders who promise to break from the party’s failures of the last decade. They see their party’s leaders as feckless and inept.

It’s the Democratic Tea Party, with a twist. trib.al/mC5cBDA

Looks like the same people that brought you John Fetterman bought an a piece in TNR. Mamdani is the mayor of NYC, but Platner is front and center in this article. On top of that who is the woman in the back supposed to be? Crockett? Meija? Again, doesn’t matter cause Platner is the focus here.

There’s also gonna be secondary effects too. This Stanford study showed a 20% reduction in dementia diagnosis in those who received the shingles vaccine.

I personally do not expect maturity from the nepo-baby nephew of Cenk Uygur who spends his days in a parasocical relationship with a lot of stupid and mean people online, bilking them for their money using vaguely Left-coded language

While literally living the life of a rich bigot, to their cheers

Nothing quite like the combination of power and stupidity.
CNN: "Another photograph - these are notes AG Bondi brought to the hearing today. This shows a list of Rep. Jayapal's search history. Lawmakers are allowed to go to a DOJ facility to search unredacted files. We learned from this photo that the searches are apparently being tracked & read by the DOJ"

Imagining a completely sociopathic AG Patrick Bateman stress-crying to reporters between meetings about our country’s most sensitive law enforcement operations.

Bondi moves through the world as if she’s seen a lifetime of ww tears working for her. Can’t imagine she’d stunt like this otherwise.

This is exactly why anarchism will always end one of two ways:
1) either the food doesn't get produced & distributed effectively and anarchist society collapses or
2) an army with a working logistics corps rolls over the anarchist society and conquers it

MAGA ego strikes again.
Seems the Pentagon is testing anti-drone high-energy lasers near Fort Bliss in El Paso, and didn't feel this was dangerous enough to close airspace over.

The FAA administrator disagreed.

Last week, these lasers successfully protected the American people from a sinister children's party balloon.
Airspace closure followed spat over drone-related tests and party balloon shoot-down, sources say
Pentagon officials had undertaken planning to use military technology near Fort Bliss, in El Paso, to practice downing drones.

the more i watch the prequel trilogy the more i think that those 3 movies are not as bad, but almost as narratively shitty as the sequel trilogy and the only thing the prequels have over them is nostalgia

“This refusal to start a review is all confusing, to say the least,” Mr. Hoge said, adding: “It is surprising, and we’re trying to understand what has changed.”

That’s a delicate way of calling the people in charge antivax quacks.

A line from Kant that’s been ricocheting around my head a lot for the past year: “Whoever wills the end wills also the necessary means.” We’re going to get a lot of doe-eyed protestations from folks who “just wanted immigration laws enforced” & couldn’t be bothered to contempate what that entailed.
ICE has now spent over half a BILLION dollars just on purchasing warehouses around the country to convert into detention camps.

If these mega-camps are utilized to the full capacity ICE intends, they'll be the largest prisons in the country, with little real oversight. www.ajc.com/politics/202...
