After everything I am coming to the conclusion the really important discourse is the popular culture one because having good (not necessarily interesting or unique) popular culture takes is the best proxy for good political takes.
On this point the government overworking their remaining lawyers so much they want to be thrown in jail for contempt just so they can get some sleep ... makes this much worse.
Lawyer's strike against the government is an insane sort of scenario for the government to find itself in.

I can’t stress this enough. The state of 4th Amendment law is that the cops can’t force you to type in a passcode but they can force you to swipe your finger or present your face. Never stop using passcodes/passwords to unlock your devices. And consider additional code to unlock Signal.

yeah Trump is mentioned in the Epstein files a whole bunch but you should focus most of your energy on Elon Musk because he is currently less untouchable and can cause a whole lot of collateral damage spiraling out of control
