For our next RiffTrax viewing, we saw a dude drive and park his car for more runtime than he spent fighting. They never call our hero IRONHEART, but I guess he's the title guy?

He's good at kicking bad guys, and not much else. Truly a wet blanket in an oversized suit. www.rifftrax.com/ironheart

Read a recommendation list for "obscure zombie movies" that didn't piss me off. Either I'm mellowing in my post-"world renowned zombie expert" years, or the list was just better.

I had no idea they were bringing back the special episode Blu-ray trailers! This is such a delightful surprise, best episode of DOCTOR WHO in years. Do the rest of the story – make a series of this right now! :)

A few rules based on watching AMITYVILLE DOLLHOUSE:

Rule #1 - Don't watch this movie without RiffTrax
Rule #2 - Seriously, it's like three EC comics hot glued to a sticky puddle of cleared browser histories
Rule #3 - Teach your kids how to make a proper margarita

The most frustrating part is that AI isn't *really* wiping out jobs. Corporations are using AI as an excuse to lay off workers and hoard profits while they watch us struggle.

For reporters to frame it this way just demonstrates their complicity in propping up a failing, harmful industry.
It’s actually up to governments to regulate AI and stop it from destroying lives.

Does every single brand really think they’re the first ones to come up with the mind-numbingly awful and endlessly irritating idea: “Our commercial will use a Xmas song melody…but with OUR OWN LYRICS!”

RiffTrax marathon day two brings us into the inane internal monologues of INSPECTOR MOM.

They couldn't decide between themes of "women can have it all" and "motherhood is the only fulfillment I need" so they just threw peanut butter on everything and called it a day. www.rifftrax.com/inspector-mom

We started our RiffTrax month with DAY OF THE ASSASSIN, which answers the question, "What do you get if you put John Wick in a blender with Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants?"

Chuck Connors plays a spy(?) who can't seem to catch a break or pick a favorite MLB team. www.rifftrax.com/day-of-the-a...

I love this movie. Never seen it without the MST3K team, but I still respect it as better than their usual fare while still being funny when expertly riffed.
There's sincere charm in its cute lizard crushing toy cars and train sets. Add a likeable cast and a song or two and its endearingly thrifty fun. 1959

Since recently upgrading to the @rifftrax.com Best Friends tier, we discovered there are a LOT of films we've yet to watch.

Check in with this thread throughout December as @doctorofthedead.bsky.social and I immerse ourselves in cheesy movies by watching one new (to us) RiffTrax title daily.

If you consider book design an art (we definitely do!), then we have all sorts of nonfiction books about pop culture. We don't sell on Amazon, we either create covers ourselves or hire wonderful human illustrators, and we work with a local printer.

At the time I'm posting this, the post below has been reshared 21 times and has 67 likes. And we have not sold a single book. Likes and reshares are nice, but if you're going to support a small business (and I get it, we're all trying to make it through), you're going to have to buy a book or two.
