Great job.

That section on "Right Wing Criticism"... 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
(no reflection on the author of course). "Racist criticism" might have worked just as well.
Beautiful! Thanks for the implicit suggestion of an account to follow. Been starved since @floatingworlds.bsky.social stopped posting.
Agree totally and hopefully there’s sufficient ethnic diversity in NYC for this to be laughed at. Also if this is the level of “gotcha” they have on him he’s not doing too badly.
I was playing Part 2 at volume last night while making dinner and Mr 20 comes in and tries to mock me for listening to "old school" Devo.

Hah, jokes on him. I was proud to say it's a brand new album from a talented young Ao/NZ artist that he'd never heard of.
My wife always says “My first husband”. I assume she means I’m #1
How much are dem Doggies in the Window then?
One of the world's great migrations - the seasonal return of the cruise ships to Whakaraupō/Lyttleton harbour.
The thing in the wall is out spending up big with your cards.

(Sorry to hear by the way. Disconcerting)
I’m assuming you aren’t an arborist though, right?

I wonder if the strike march will still be on? North Hagley probably not the place to be.
In the same way that Trump 2.0 is worse than Trump 1.0, the CoC are signalling all the ways they will be worse in their second term. It must not happen.
That sucks. Looks like co-chairs of Human Research Ethics Committee are [email protected] and [email protected]
Yes, one would hope so but often people are busy and things might have been overlooked, especially for student projects. Anyway I'd expect the first question if you do complain higher up will be "have you contacted the researcher?"
Have you tried the lead researcher? Or the head of the relevant department? That might be worth starting with instead of trying to go to the ethics committee.
It was a bit random. I think they checked all the "likely" places. They did miss a few things fortunately and I had my current laptop with me.
He's a bit shook up but he did the right thing and locked himself downstairs and took a photo of the car. Also dealt with the police until I got home.
And that all your pilots and security and personal assistants don't themselves have families. Great "New Yorker" article a few years back pointed out these and other dilemmas. For example when do you bolt? Don't want to be too early, or too late.
Attending officers said this type of "old school" day time burglary was becoming almost unknown but has had a bit of an uptick recently. Hard not to imagine that the state of the economy has something to do with this.
Also annoyingly took our laundry basket (presumably to carry things) and our passports (unintentionally I guess). Police must have just missed them. They wore gloves, knew what they were doing, did minimal damage.

Car was stolen from across town in another burglary earlier in the morning.
Not what you want to see on you home camera when you are 25 min away from home and your young adult son is home alone. Couple of young guys, forced a window, ransacked the place, took cash, jewellery (including precious inherited pieces) and tools from the garage.
Also person charged with burglary has said in court they were nothing to do with the protest.

I’ve been advertising for an urchin to go down and clean my chimney. So far no takers. I assume they are all on their PlayStations.
My local MP seems to believe that the solution to environmental degradation is simply to threaten local democracy. To say there is any sort of "Blue Green" movement is farcical. I will actively campaign against her if she stands next year.
Pyramids have traditionally proven quite enduring.
