AI data centers will run out of water before we run out of hate

So what I'm saying here, is that technology stays around, but it stops getting used in stupid ways (or the stupid ways decline anyways). Generative AI is mostly a stupid way to use AI.

There are so many trends, especially in tech, that I was told I'd effectively be forced to adopt and then never did.

My things worked fine before, if I don't want to use something I can just keep not using it. It's not incumbent on me to change, it's incumbent on tech to prove it's worth using.

Children are supposed to be affordable.

Housing is supposed to be affordable.

Food is supposed to be affordable.

Transport to get to work is supposed to be affordable.

Energy is supposed to be affordable.
"don't have children if you can't afford them" lol it's not like getting a horse. Children are supposed to be affordable. Besides, when rich people have kids the kids become influencers or start t shirt brands and I can't think of anything worse for growth than having more of these ppl

The most precious commodity you have is your attention. You don’t have to waste it on poor-faith debates or arguments with strangers if you don’t think they’ll be productive. You can prioritize the things that matter to you and make your life richer.

Life after the war feels like a battlefield on its own. My family is carrying wounds we can’t treat and needs we can’t meet. We’re trying to stay alive with almost nothing. Any support you give keeps us going 🙏🏻💔

look it's not possible to keep everyone happy.

you are either on the side of workers or you're on the side of those that exploit workers.

labour have chosen the side of those who exploit workers.

Outrageous U-turn. Miserable for workers & terrible economics. Insecure workers don't spend = weak economy. It's time Labour actually lived up to its name & stopped pandering to the businesses always gauging workers.

Don't hire someone you might have to dismiss unfairly! It's not rocket science!
