Quick update on what we just saw here—*before curfew*, ISP troopers, Broadview PD and CCSO deputies began menacing demonstrators outside the ICE facility. Several arrests.

Pepper ball guns at the ready, a bit of a standoff going with remaining protesters. All people are doing is playing music.

I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.

also want to share this pic from 2020. it's one of my favorites bc someone once pointed out the gold strap in the bg is positioned so it looks almost like he has a halo. i've always thought of him as an angel sent to protect me, so every time i see this one i think, yeah, that's my little angel.
