People will praise Dante's Inferno as a work of classic literature and not even think for a second that it's a self-insert fanfic about the author putting people he personally didn't like in Hell
I have a big issue with people treating fanfiction like it's something shameful. That calling a book a 'fanfic' is a dirty word. When fanfiction, in and of itself, is one of the oldest forms of storytelling, and in my opinion, is a legitimate sub-genre of literature.

Although the bulk of Lister's estate was left to make cousins, her wife, Anne Walker, was provided for.
Lister's tombstone was rediscovered in 2010.
