I can't speak for what was said at the protests, but seeing people react to an anodyne statement like "sacred spaces should not be used to promote activities in violation of international law" as if it were a vicious slur is clarifying.
Zohran Mamdani chastised a Manhattan synagogue that hosted an event promoting migration to Israel and settlements in occupied territories. His stance further tested his strained relationship with pro-Israel Jews in New York.

For reference, the only two on this list who have been here recently have been Booker and Beshear (although I guess you could get to 3 with Pritzker if you stretch the definition of "recently" a bit); 2 others who have been here recently (Chris Murphy and Ro Khanna) aren't even on here:
New Hampshire - Democratic Presidential Polling:

Buttigieg: 28%
Newsom: 24%
Harris: 6%
Pritzker: 4%
Booker: 4%
Shapiro: 3%
Klobuchar: 2%
Beshear: 2%
Whitmer: 2%

I feel like it’s getting lost that driving downtown is a *CHOICE.*

If you don’t want to pay a modest parking tax, don’t drive downtown! Take the bus! Walk! Bike! Take a scooter!

For those who are unfamiliar with the various autistic and autistic advocacy factions, this is like Neocons/war hawks linking up with Code Pink and Antifa. Just very, very different groups all recognizing a common threat.

basically everyone zohran has put on his transition team has proven he knows ball both on policing and housing
the left nimby crashout bc Zohran actually wants to build more housing is genuinely so funny

I’m not a theorist but selling your time to produce value that is skimmed by your employer is fundamentally different to being self employed? No?
Archetypal example is “capitalism ground me down so I quit my job and set up a small business so that I’m my own boss”. You didn’t dislike capitalism! You disliked authority!

In a landmark 1969 case known as United States v Keenan, a military court ruled, “Obedience to a lawful order is justified, but one in execution of a patently illegal order is not.”

The video Democrats released this week suggests that service members are facing such a situation today.
‘Punishable by DEATH’: Trump threatens Democrats with sedition charges
The US president forcefully denounced Democratic lawmakers for calling on the military to reject any 'illegal orders'.

With the "disobey unlawful orders" story staying in the news, let's take a moment to remember just WHY it's required to refuse illegal orders: the "just following orders" defense has constantly been used to excuse war crimes, from the Boer War to Nuremberg to My Lai:

Somethign as expensive as an IPhone should be classified as a "durable good," like a dishwasher or a stove, and not be expected to be replaced ever couple of years. Also, Apple should understand, really understand, that very few people want native AI on their phones, and will stop buying them.
It's not just "consumer smart" it reduces environmental waste, key materials are often mined in slave conditions. The whole tenor of the article is wrong - why is the economy so dependent on us engaging in mass waste?
