The problem with ICE is not that it's targeting people who aren't criminals. The problem with ICE is that it's an unaccountable secret deportation police. It cannot be reformed under a better president. It can be made less terrible, but the instrument of repression remains for the next tyrant.

well that's because the question to richard asked about removing people who have criminal charges, which gave him this out to make it about due process. this is why we need to divorce the criminal charges from our complaints about cyndy, she still killed that teenager regardless

still waiting on cyndy martin to appear before the judge 1 hour later. 4 or 5 observers in zoom court, one "concerned citizen," as well as a family member of the victim

Here’s how these things go:

1. “We are shocked and sad that this happened.”

2. “They had a criminal warrant. No you can’t see it. But they totally did.”

3. “A stick touched an officer in full riot gear so the police get to use their chemical weapons on protestors. Sorry them’s the rules!”
Carter said he stood by the city's police department, and Police Chief Axel Henry maintained his department did not violate the city’s separation ordinance.

Carter said Henry has begun a full review of the use of force during Tuesday’s response.

Nativists love to talk about the costs of immigrants, but each ICE agent is making $213,000 in total compensation to destroy our rights, freedoms, families, friendships, neighborhoods, and economies. Worse than a "welfare queen." It'd be better to pay them to stay home.

Another federal agent operation in St. Paul draws large crowds of protesters
Gov. Tim Walz said state officials were monitoring a “chaotic” situation “and working to understand what unfolded. We received no heads up from federal authorities on this operation.”

Pecan Pie bangs. Ya’ll will really find anything to complain about. 😂😂

My thanksgiving hot take? I don’t need mashed potatoes. It’s just a vehicle for gravy. Plenty of better options there.

the funny thing is, all of our allegedly Strong Mayors are actually Weak Mayors when it comes to controlling their cops
WATCH St. Paul police, aiding ICE, restrain a man and spray him full in the face. They are not and have never been on our side.

You’d think that the way lawless ICE agents are allowed to treat people, while local PDs sit on their hands, would open some eyes to the idea that maybe cops are not the best and only way to protect the public.

Welcome to America. Where you can commit warcrimes on protestors and nothing happens! As long as you’re willing to put someone else under your boot!
November 25, 2025 at 5:15 PM
Fuck these goons. Where is the PD protecting its people? PDs sitting out and pointing towards “we are following the consent decree by not helping” is not enough.

These are blatant violations of the law that local PDs should be enforcing on these stromtroopers. They’re supposed to protect US!!!

Denying other parts of the city fair representation so southwest can dominate the vote for 10 of 13 council seats sounds like something Scott Graham would want to do.
Fun to walk around lake of the Isles and hear one failed ward candidate loudly plotting with another extremely failed ward 7 candidate about having 4 wards and 9 at large council seats.

“Caleb’s pocket presence just isn’t there.” @dannyheifetz.bsky.social

Tough take man. One search of “Caleb sack rate” would’ve cleared this up. Stats from 11/19. Took me 3 seconds to search for.

richard g arguing against DFL constitution. he's a member of CBRC, yet doesn't know DFL meetings are open to the public. he wants to impose a code of conduct on meeting guests because he doesn't like cyndy martin's criminal charges for killing a teenager with her car being mentioned on social media

it’s all very minnesotan to talk around the problem and pretend that accurately describing facts is “toxic” and “outrageous” but no one says anything about the woman facing criminal charges for killing a teenager with her car

i think keeping someone like that in leadership is toxic and outrageous

So since Democrats just had a vote on a resolution to condemn socialism. When is the resolution to condemn fascism? Would love to see a vote on that!

Angie Craig too
Hakeem Jeffries was literally voting for a resolution condemning socialism while this meeting was taking place
