In eighth grade someone's adult older sibling was left in charge of me & a few other kids at a school event, and he took us into the boys bathroom to smoke cigarettes. It was that moment I stopped believing in authority.

Really solid points here. ICE is made up of little racist brats who only feel strong when they're waving around guns, but I've seen bigger guns while I'm grocery shopping for fuck's sake.
I saw this take on TikTok a few days ago and wanted to share it here. I had to truncate it because it's a bit longer than 3 minutes. Her central argument is the US govt has a problem in that decades of stochastic terrorism from gun culture has made us less scared of guns.
