I’d just like to say a sincere I see you to all the queers who completed the EHRC consultation tonight. To be put in the position where you have to beg to have the human rights abuses aimed at you take a somewhat less severe form, knowing you will be ignored, is so defeating. But we’ll keep going.

Something I found lovely about yesterday was that allies really showed up. I was in the queue for parliament with a mother meeting her MP on behalf of her trans child & a cis man meeting his on behalf of his trans brother. A father of trans kids met my MP before me. People are fighting this with us.

This also goes for any MSP currently falling over themselves to comply in advance with weak, discriminatory guidance. Have some damn courage, hold a principle. It's a basic civil rights issue and you're failing us
