Don’t be scared.

„Quiet, Piggy!“ Just think about that for a minute, and what it means to live in a time when a President can assault a woman in public like that without any consequences.
It‘s quite a testimony to the age of regression we live in.

Democrats are leaning into the meme war because they think if they win in culture, they don’t have to win in policy—and no one will notice.

I’m gonna use that. I’m writing it down so I don’t forget.

To those of us that have been following Covid and Long Covid, it is not a surprise to see rampant misinfo on the CDC pages.

With the autism/vaccine page, know this is not their first instance of this, it’s just the first time you have taken notice or care of it.

It’s not too late to mask up 😷

The President of the United States is publicly calling for the political prosecution of his political opponents, urging the death penalty because they urged soldiers to uphold the rule of law.

This should be front page news everywhere. It is not, which tells much about how we got to this point.

They lied? I’m shocked! 🙄
Bill Cassidy claimed he received assurances that the “CDC will not remove statements on their website pointing out that vaccines do not cause autism,” when justifying his vote to confirm RFK Jr lol

Alice Wong helped me accept my disabilities.

She taught me there’s no social justice without disability justice.

She encouraged me to start The Disabled Ginger and was a friend & mentor.

She won’t be forgotten.

Don’t let the bastards grind you down:

Thank You Alice Wong
Alice Wong has passed away and the disability community has lost a leader. I lost a mentor and a friend. The Disabled Ginger wouldn't exist without Alice and everything she taught me.

Everyone thinks they will be the exception.

Serious illness or disability won’t happen to them and IF it does, they will be able to afford it.

The reality is it only takes one catastrophic event to change your life, especially in a country that doesn’t guarantee healthcare for all.

My MCAS hit before Covid, but it’s been devastating to my ability to eat.

I’m down to 10 safe foods. I’m malnourished and still losing weight.

The digestive and allergic issues that can accompany Long Covid are very destructive to quality of life.
So I try not to give too many gory details about life with long covid, but I also think it’s important to give a clear picture of what can happen to anyone.

Over the last yearish, I’ve become allergic to more than 70 foods. Today I lost soy. I’m not how long I can keep eating at all.

Yall real silent about disability injustices because most of you don’t see disability as a thing that can happen to you.

We are “aww those poor people”. Meanwhile disability can happen to anyone at any moment and those injustices you ignored? They become your experiences too
