Unfortunately so many people just think the weather forecast is there to tell them if they need an umbrella or whether it's shorts and crocs season or winter clothing time.

With Rome it was order failing on the roads and infrastructure coming to pieces.

Agriculture, travel (flying), shipping, and so much else is predicated on "decent weather forecasting".

For the record, the USSR did try to address the issue of racism and bigotry and they actually failed, because they looked at it (of course) from an economic standpoint.

There's a reason for the DDR to AFD pipeline, too.
