Tried to reorder tea from a French company that we really like, and not only will they no longer ship to the U.S., if you try to enter a U.S. address, it returns an "invalid country" error message.

These economic conditions – Wall Street steaming ahead, the real economy facing gale-force headwinds – aren’t some accidents. They’re the direct result of wide-eyed, broad-daylight policy choices. Tariff policies and policy instability are doing exactly what many of us warned they would, just on a longer fuse.
I don’t know how well you remember the run-up to Iraq, but it feels familiar: anyone who understood counterinsurgency or Iraq’s social fabric knew we’d win the easy war and lose the hard one. Yet we charged in anyway.
We’re doing it again.
