It just occurred to me that this app doesn’t have a stupid baby man-child at the helm, suppressing Substack links. So I’m going to start sharing some pieces from the archive, starting with this little short story I wrote.

At the height of the British Empire, the conditions of the British Working-Class were atrocious with the riches of Empire going to the Aristocracy

Those in the American Working-Class cheering Trump/Musk should read history & realize that the Wealth plundered from Venezuela won't be going to them

THREAD: Viral misinformation on US capture of Nicolas Maduro - 4 January

This video, shared by Alex Jones and others, falsely claims to show millions of Venezuelans in Caracas celebrating Maduro's capture.

In fact, it shows anti-Maduro protests in July 2024 over a highly disputed election.

This video, viewed millions of times on TikTok, Facebook and X, claims to show Venezuelans taking to the street to thank the US for detaining Maduro.

But the video is a combination of four AI-generated clips and was first posted on TikTok by a user who frequently shares AI videos. It's not real.

More AI-generated images of Nicolas Maduro being detained by the US military and transferred to the US have been shared online.

These two images have both been created with AI and aren't real.

The only thing that can stop the attack on # Venezuela is the #GeneralStrike. The people are not celebrating the streets. They are demanding solidarity against the actions of a rogue government, the #unitedstates.

Another casualty of senseless DOGE cuts to NOAA. NOAA Fisheries work goes into restoring habitats and sustainable fishing practices on American shores.

Ocean (and Great Lake!) biodiversity continues to wane and that affects us all at levels to great to individually handle!

My whole life, advocating war has been fed to me as “the adult position,” akin to drinking your coffee black or reading the business section of the newspaper. Let’s be very clear — war is the childish nonsense of impulsive destructive idiots playing baby-brained video games with real human lives.

Elliott Abrams specifically wants this, as does his network. It didn’t begin in Trump term two. Began with Iran-Contra and continued through multiple admins, including Bush and also Biden, who installed Abrams as an advisor in 2023. Same horrible people with same horrible plans for a half century.
Who specifically wants this? And why? It feels like more than just oil. I am not saying the reason is good or even rooted in reality, I just want know what it is. Is it just that some people have wanted this for a long time like they do with Iran?

And this morning, Trump illegally attacks Venezuela and abducts its president and his wife purportedly to try them for drug trafficking.

Marco Rubio is reportedly saying Maduro will stand trial in US courts.

Which means it’s now the US administration’s position that US courts can hold foreign presidents, but not the US president, accountable for crimes.
