I can't trust politicians who are anti-trans. Not because I'm "only searching for perfection" which is what centrists will be accusing me of for the rest of my life, it's because if you're not pro-trans you'll be garbage on lots of other issues too. Being anti-trans NEVER exists in a vacuum.

This situation is revealing so many unexpected faultlines.
If we realize that this material is not the red line for the Taoiseach that it is for most people, how can we take him seriously on any other issue? How can he lead the country?
Taoiseach: “We have issues with a lot of platforms at different times…”

🗣️ “But they’re not generating child sex abuse material… this is a different scale.”

Taoiseach challenged on X and Grok, and admits they should be “pursued” in respect of generated intimate images of children.

I genuinely think mild AI psychosis might be quite widespread. An otherwise sane and lovely friend recently try to convince me they'd made a breakthrough in an unsolved crime thanks to "work" he'd been doing with ChatGPT. It's hard to know what to do with that.

It's not good enough to blame users for the horrifying images being produced by Grok AI.

This tool is doing exactly what it is designed to do.

We need a criminal investigation into X and Grok - because there have been clear breaches of the law.

The laws are in place – the govt must enforce them.

Context: Pronounciation here affects meaning. Not the US definition of "The Maaaan". This is an Irish Mammy pointing at some random oblivious guy and saying "Look! Theman! Theman will get angry!" to keep a kid in line

You and your wife drop your 6-year-old off at school. You just moved here. You see ICE terrorizing your new neighbors. You film them, as is your legal right. Your wife complies with orders. She is then shot in the head. You still have to pick up your child later today.

This could be you.
