I really thought Ron saved himself on the Traitors. It was a lot closer than it looked like earlier though.

Mike Tomlin’s 19-year run in Pittsburgh included a Super Bowl XLIII win, eight AFC North titles and zero losing seasons.

The Steelers will now begin to search for just the franchise’s fourth head coach since 1969.

TWISTED BY LOVE (Tubi) At around the 29 minute mark, this contains maybe the worst movie blooper I’ve ever seen. The scene ends, the actors talk about the take, the director resets, and they do another take. It’s all left in the edit.

I hate hate hate how focused seemingly everyone left of center is on the "correct" slogan or messaging.

Say what you believe in. If you believe in defunding the police, say that. If you believe in something else, say that other thing. Fuck your focus grouped bullshit.
in the early aftermath of renee good’s murder some people decided to resurrect their gripe with ‘defund the police’ as a slogan and, with all the disrespect i can possibly muster, those people should be trebucheted at the moon
Defunding the police was always a good idea. The bipartisan rejection of it helped lead us to where we are now. Until we recognize its necessity, we will continue our downward spiral.

Ruben Amorim has been sacked by Manchester United.

The Portuguese’s final game of his 14-month spell in charge was the 1-1 draw against Leeds United on Sunday that leaves them sixth in the Premier League after 20 matches.

Raising the always fun question: What are your most memorable theater-going experiences?

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.
It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

.. there's always a little of that in a few games, yes.

But also, look at the batted ball profile. Dodgers are putting everything in the air, and popping up a ton. They're better engineered to slug, and they have 12 XBH to 8, but otherwise they're making contact that's not going to turn into hits.

One thing that's interesting to me about the WS so far is that despite narratives, there's not really a batting contact advantage here.

TOR K 19%
LA K 21%

LA has exactly 3 more strikeouts. But:

TOR BABIP .300
LA BABIP .239

Defense has been about equal. So maybe you'd go "good luck," and ..
