Very rapidly swinging to the belief that getting the posters defaced is part of the marketing buy
Yesterday my partner and I counted all the ads along Chicago's Brown Line for "Friend," a company selling an AI chatbot pendant, and tallied how many of those ads were defaced.

Still working on a longer piece on this, but here's the quick and dirty: we counted 104 "Friend" ads total, 42 defaced.

We might want to consider stopping making the country shitty. The teens are noticing.
The declining desire for kids
1993: 64% of 12th graders said if they did get married, it's very likely they'd want kids
2023: 48% of 12th graders said if they did get married, it's very likely they'd want kids

The President of the United States called for the execution of Members of Congress who told members of the military that they did not have to follow unlawful orders.

I’m suddenly thinking about all the people who’ve been demanding that elected Democrats put their lives on the line to fight Trump when those same people couldn’t be bothered to fill in a fucking bubble on a piece of paper a year ago to prevent all of this.
Earlier this morning, President Trump threatened me and a group of service and veteran Members of Congress with arrest, trial, and death by hanging.

Here’s my response:

You know you don't have to preemptively destroy every win and people's minds and your own and everybody else's by dooming saying that something that's supposed to happen is not going to happen. Nobody predicted any of this would happen today so maybe sometimes that might be wrong?

Liberals can’t punish you for saying “Merry Christmas” if there is no Christmas!

Checkmate, Libs.
Fox guest on how to save money during the holidays:

"Remember, adults don't need gifts. Focus on the people in your life who are aged 3 to 18. Grandma doesn't need slippers. If they don't live by you, don't get them a gift."

I was 15 when it happened .
I was so traumatized I had to drop out of 10th grade halfway through the year. I finished HS through the mail while I spent my days in intensive outpatient therapy.
I am 42 now & hardly a day goes by I don’t think about it.

So no, it’s not ok to rape 15yr olds. #MeToo

📌Everything Megyn Kelly says and does is to win the adoration of sickening, dangerous men who have spent their miserable lifetimes abusing girls and women -- like Megyn Kelly.
Get the help you need, Megyn, because you are putting a lot of girls in danger with your grotesque advocacy of rape.

Congress: Votes to release
Trump: Veto
Congress: Override
DOJ: No
Media: Sues
Dist. & Circuit Ct.: Law is clear. DOJ must release.

I can tell that the Epstein story is worrying the GOP & associated entities because a lot of left-wing posters are suddenly popping up with “Chuck Schumer sucks!” posts.
November 14, 2025 at 9:20 PM
Maybe I’m missing something, but even if Congress votes to release the Epstein files and Trump vetos it and they override the veto, won’t DOJ just not do it?

it’s not an “issue.” it’s not something to “win” on.

it’s a monstrosity.

if you have a soul, there’s no way to not be deeply overwhelmed by the scale of the horror and the apparent indifference of too many people for too long.
Enten: "Trump is 39 below water on the Epstein case. 39 points in the negative! My goodness gracious. What Trump has been selling on the Epstein files, the Epstein case, the American people have not been buying at all ... less than half of Republicans are buying it. This is his worst issue by far"

The next time someone tells you that America isn’t a sick & racist country, just remind them that this nation is willing to accept treason, rape, and child abuse from a white president but not healthcare from a Black one.

Schumer led Senate Democrats in fighting Trump over healthcare, period.

If you think Senate leaders can control members of their caucus, you don’t know much about the Senate. And before you say “McConnell,” remember why we still have the ACA when Trump and McConnell wanted it gone.

Look, 42 million Americans receive SNAP benefits. Quite a few of those food stamp recipients vote. Many of them woke up last week and found out Republicans weren't going to help feed them and their kids.

If the shutdown kept going much longer many of them would have started to blame Democrats.

It is worth noting that there are a lot of us who are happy that we’re going to start getting paid again.

I know that there are larger issues at stake. But hundreds of thousands of public servants working for a month without pay isn’t nothing.

I have thoughts, and they aren’t going to fit neatly into Bluesky posts. Briefly:

1. The deal sucks.
2. Probably not as much as you think it does.
3. It’s good to be mad.
4. FFS, be madder at the GOP.
5. Strategy is hard.
5b. Timing matters.
6. The fight isn’t over.
7. Go pet a cat. (Or a dog.)

The party in the position of “just pass the clean CR” has always had the advantage in shutdown politics. So the Dems always had the harder lift here. 1/6
