I trust ICE more than just about any American institution. I know who they recruit, what they believe, how they train, who they target, and what they want a future America to resemble. They don't lie, it's all out there.

Wolfers: This is the most interventionist government of my lifetime. It’s the least conservative government of my lifetime. The 2A fan boys are going to be in trouble if being armed is a per se theory.
This is apparently on X. I have a few concerns: 1) why is DHS sending photos of (alleged) evidence that should be in a secure chain of custody that is now lying on a car seat??? and 2) being armed does not on its own justify the use of deadly force — there has to be evidence he was trying to use it

If you work for ICE, there's no denying that's the mission you're supporting now. You don't get to claim in one year or ten or twenty that you didn't know what ICE was doing. You're complicit.

At this point mere membership in ICE should be criminal.
ICE must be stopped. It's leaders should be prosecuted. Later we can discuss how to create a law-abiding, public-serving agency to police our borders. But it can't be this tainted, criminal agency. That's not an extreme position. It the only way to address this existential threat to our society.
