My parents got notices saying their primary insurance premiums will go up significantly, and several of their prescriptions will no longer be covered, so they need to work with their doctors to find alternatives on their prescription plans.

In 2001 the tribes in Washington sued the state to open up the concrete culverts for fish passage, and they won. A lot of old concrete pipes were replaced with modern bridges over waterways.
This may have saved our bacon this year, as the flooding would’ve been exponentially worse with the pipes.

I drove a cab late night in a city in law school and it was not uncommon for people to call A BUDGET TAXI rather than an ambulance because they were judging if their medical emergency was serious enough to justify bankruptcy, so you know, fuck this guy.
