Vinegar Valentines were a trollish reaction to the valentine craze of the 1840s - these mass produced cards consisted of a mean poem and nasty image and were sent anonymously. The mail system at the time required the recipient to pay for postage so you'd have to pay to be insulted!

The movie the Cell (2000) is not exactly good but it is one of the most beautiful movies I've ever seen and I appreciate that a big part of J-Lo's character is she likes to get high and watch movies like Fantastic Planet

Kind of wish more folk would frame art and creativity as being a bit like running in their heads or something.
Is everyone naturally brilliant at it? No. If you work at it will you improve? Yes you probably will! If you don’t get good is it still worthwhile? Yeah! Can an LLM do it for you? Nope.

Watching Hey! Arnold as inspiration for a more complex animation than one I've ever done I'm working on and, some notes:
1. The music is unreal good.
2. The background artwork is out of this world good, too.
3. Probably one of the most accurate portrayals of living in NYC I've seen to date tbh lmao

Was driving my kids to school and the first thing on the radio was reporting about Trump's video depicting the Obamas as apes and I think many people still don't fully appreciate what it means to have to raise Black children in a country where the president is so brazenly and consistently racist
