About to go find out why (some?) people have finally decided something is wrong with Substack. The platform we have known for years that they have specifically recruited white supremacists and nazis at least since they started paying people. IS2G.

I've passed a resolution condemning Congress, the Executive branch, and the Judicial branch. The condemnation was unanimous.

Unfortunately, it's even more toothless when I do it than when Congress does it.
US Congress voted 285–98 to condemn "socialism." 88 Democrats joined Republicans, including Hakeem Jeffries.

What they mean by socialism is your access to healthcare, housing, safety regulations, and anything that benefits you instead of the oligarchy. There has been no vote to condemn fascism. #3E

I don't have enough healthcare for eye-rolling related injuries related to headlines that are like "In *shocking* news, sabotaging the economy turns out to be really bad for the *economy* if you catch our drift, lads."

It would really help if journalists would stop pretending to be gullible.

My scheme to turn all my pennies into collector items has finally come to fruition.

I got your rare coins. Very exclusive. No longer being made.
My two cents on this subject is--hey, where did those go?
US Mint will press the final penny today as the 1-cent coin gets canceled

If you put "know" and "in the biblical sense" in the same sentence in a video, I'm going to be real tempted to use it for something "naughty." 🤣

Companies today: We're firing some of you because AI can do your job. (Not really though we expect it will soon enough.)

Companies tomorrow: We're firing some of you because we spent soooo much money on AI and it didn't perform to expectations.

Me: Anyone want to try regulation? 🤷‍♀️

Normally, I wait for the union to weigh in. Until they ( @condeunion.bsky.social ) say otherwise, I'm boycotting all Condé Nast publications. That includes Teen Vogue, Vogue, Ars Technica, Wired, The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, Pitchfork, Glamour, and GQ among others.

We strongly condemn @CondéNast’s consolidation plans for Teen Vogue, a move that is clearly designed to blunt the award-winning magazine’s insightful journalism at a time when it is needed the most. More from our statement:

Bluesky seems remarkably bad at some very fundamental social media tasks.

It's kind of frustrating.

The average US taxpayer spends $36 a year on SNAP

You know what they spend on corporate subsidies? $670

Poor and disabled people who need food are not the problem

If you’re angry about “your money” feeding people but not angry it’s giving tax cuts to the wealthy?

You’re doing their dirty work.
