there are a few labelers i use, like that one, that i treat as a for-my-info thing and do not always take it as a call to negative action. blocklists though, there's hitler particles in every blocklist

to contextualize this for everyone: the "anti alf aktion" labeller that let you do things like automatically block people with a hammer and sickle or inverted pink triangle emoji in their name was fucking vibecoded lmao (i looked into it and almost half the LOC count is claude)

yup there are advantages and disadvantages to all approaches, and i know the fediverse asks a bit much on learning how to use it, but as corpo-fascist control always wins on big, centralized platforms, it's a skill worth learning

the lesson i would like everyone to learn from bluesky is to not put all your eggs in one basket. even the fediverse is full of drama, tinpot dictators, and instances disappearing for a variety of reasons, often the one you're on. to survive what's coming, we need strong, multi-network social groups
