When the article gets too real out of nowhere
Great geniuses are often ignored and misunderstood

I think the appropriate response would be to eat an oyster in front of her while maintaining eye contact. Though unfortunately I think I'd get some strange looks if I brought oysters into the break room
On my break at work today a new colleague sits down in front of me and says 'I'm not on my break, I'm just gonna eat this banana'.

Then she dead ass looks me right in the eyes while she eats her banana.

Honestly, power move
I'm a bit drunk and watching this made was a mistake

Noah Smith seems to now believe that accusing Israel of committing genocide in Gaza, something which is now the consensus of all major human rights organizations on the planet as well as the International Association of Genocide Scholars, is comparable to the 2020 election denialism of the GOP.

A lot of centrist commentators who genuinely got worked up about the unforgivably insulting nature of "cling to guns and religion" or "basket of deplorables" are weirdly silent about Trump portraying himself as literally shitting on American cities

Again, only conservatives do this, Nancy Pelosi has never demanded the Church be less homophobic if it wants to keep her

When's their flags at half-mast? When's their bipartisan resolution? When do these children get 24/7 coverage of their too-short lives and endless interrogation of their murderer's ideology?
A MAGA teenager was spurned by a teen girl so he sent pizza to her home to intimidate her. The police ignored it.

Then, he saw she mocked Charlie Kirk so he murdered her and her friend by ramming his truck into them at 70mph while they were riding their bikes.

He's now charged with murder.
I know he's God's vicar on earth but my mom says I'm very smart sooooooo
I recently participated in a writing competition where my submission included the worst parody of a nothing instagram poem my mind could conjure. One piece of feedback from a judge read:

Fitting your poem into a 250 story – masterful! And a good poem, too!

But their legal traditions is also something someone dreamt up and other went along with?

When it's something he likes it's sacrosanct tradition. When it's something he doesn't, it's in innovation.
A deeply unserious man:

“And I do give perspective to the precedent. But … the precedent should be respectful of our legal tradition, and our country and our laws, and be based on something – not just something somebody dreamt up and others went along with.”

'The left ignored the obvious weaknesses in the Maginot Line for too long, it's time to march through Belgium'
'The left ignored societal claustrophobia for too long. It's time to give communities living space'

'The left ignored concerns about unproductive members of society for too long. It's time to concentrate certain communities, in fun little camps'
You'd think that someone would raise their hand and note that 'patriotic national renewal' sounds like something Hitler might say
The success of the far right is not only measured in votes and seats but in its impact on rhetoric, policy and ideology. The fact that a (nominally) social democratic head of government with a huge majority choses to say and do this is maybe the biggest success of the far right in Europe yet.

I'm sure he'll prove just as prescient about this as he was about the metaverse
