As @jamellebouie.net quite aptly puts it, the irony of JD Vance’s origin story is that he is clearly struggling with addiction, just to power not substances. The kicker tho, as an addict myself, is Vance stands apart from most of us in that no one loves him or cares enough about him to intervene.

I saw a guy suggesting really the only way to stop all this nonsense is choking it by withholding spending. Protest and free speech are allowed because they won’t change the system. I can’t get it out of my head. It’s making more and more sense.
