Ah, that’s right.
I’m the parent of a newborn.
Which means there’s these wonderful 1-3 minute segments of my day where I’m not sure if my baby is alive or dead and I can’t be sure until I poke her belly and see her startled arms shoot up.
I find my biggest misstep is that I forget that I take my finger off the left trigger to target, and then I’m certainly wondering why I’m not able to launch attacks anymore.😅

🚨BREAKING: The State of Arizona filed a lawsuit accusing House Speaker Mike Johnson of violating the Constitution by refusing to swear in Representative-elect Adelita Grijalva. The plaintiffs argue that Johnson’s delay has deprived hundreds of thousands of Arizonans of representation.

Right, yeah, sure, but on the other hand: My sons do laugh at this scene every time we watch it.
They're also the same boys who get emotional when I make their bean burritos just a LITTLE differently...
Almost every minute, of every day, I try to think of how to be a better person, husband, father, and friend.
And sometimes I act on it.
And sometimes I have to hope that’s enough.

This photo accompanying a news story about the heist at the Louvre is perfection.
The faffing about I’ve been doing in this game is off the charts.
The faffing knows no bounds.
Legends Z-A is still shaping up to be one of my favorite in the series.
This deteriorating piece of cow fat should probably just stop saying stupid things:
RFK Jr: "Today the average teenager in this country has 50% of the sperm count, 50% of the testosterone of a 65 year old man. Our girls are hitting puberty 6 years early ... our parents aren't having children."

An ICE agent, who is being arrested for drunk driving and nearly killing his little kids & others, tries to stop the arrest by racially profiling the officers arresting him. Amazing to watch the courtesy given to him as he is belligerent and uncooperative
DID I ALSO MAKE EXCITED TYPOS IN THE ABOVE POST YES
Did I have to be a responsible dad an wait to play until after parent/teacher conferences? YES.
Did I immediately take the boys to GameStop to pick up Legenda Z-A as soon as we were done?
ABSOLUTELY.
I have a cold.
Meaning I cannot hold my newborn baby girl.
So if you gave it to me?
Fooey on you.
Already listened to this new remix about five times. Going to listen more in these final days of Paldea.
Again, another awesome piece from @glitchxcity.bsky.social and crew!
It's been a long time coming, but with this remix of Area Zero, we officially come to a close on my coverage for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. Scottay and I teamed up to tackle this track, and I hope y'all enjoy this last ride in Paldea! ✨

More than any other artist in the world, I had Drew up on my walls for inspiration and awe
My entire life, including today. He was an incredible Instagram follow. Take some time and go look at his account. It’s a great tribute.

Again it works great if you're asking it how many states are in the USA or who was the star of Top Gun. But if the answer is even one inch deep or requires a tiny bit of reading comprehension of the source links, it does the one thing it should never, ever, ever do: It just fucking lies.

I googled a basic question on if a specific household chemical safe to use on a specific surface and it not only hallucinated a fake "no" answer, but made up a fake reason(!) When clicking its source links, you find that info nowhere, and further research proved it was just blatantly wrong.

With the AI Google summaries, people aren't just cherry-picking the failures. The only time it is 100% is when there is an extremely easy and well-known answer to your inquiry. If it's anything you'd actually need to dig to find, it will hallucinate a fake answer basically every time.

"Haha look at this nerdy, bootlicking conformist. That's so cringe, dude, everyone is laughing at you. Nonconformity is what makes you cool, how can you not know that? Everyone is doing it but you. Read the room."
