I will never understand why an actual movie director chooses to spend his time and energy behaving like a fifth-tier shitposter. (Also, this is a Hall of Fame bad take.)

Spotify Wrapped is here. And Bad Bunny is the platform's most-streamed artist for 2025. That means he has ended Taylor Swift's two-year reign in the top spot.

So grateful to everyone in NYC who mobilized to stop the ICE raid of Canal St. The violence being committed against immigrants is heart-wrenching, but the shows of solidarity we have seen around the country give me so much hope.

Audience culture is the worst it's ever been, I swear to god. People forgot how to act. I'm at the theater, trying to enjoy my show, which I've paid GOOD MONEY for, and these two old assholes are in the balcony heckling the life out of the poor bear onstage. Not letting him finish a single joke.

The powers that be need to get it together because we need a 10 hour cut at least
Teyana is so good in OBAA. From completely commanding Sean Penn in Those Scenes to the pure emotion when we only hear her voice from the letter she wrote, she just bodied this role in a way that I can’t get over.

THE RAZOR’S EDGE (1985), a Lebanese movie directed by Jocelyne Saab that depicts a teenage girl living amidst war; coming of age in violence. Its perfect blend of reality and surrealism has stayed with me.

I know there’s a lot more immediate things on the agenda for NYC but I really hope/think this administration will go hard on arts funding and maybe my friends and I can get paid a living wage again
