👀 Zarah Sultana voted with the Tories in *every* vote on the Employment Rights Bill last night 👀

Including
- voting to KEEP strike ballot thresholds
- voting to KEEP the Tories’ 2016 changes to political fund ballots

Love how the Telegraph are trying to pin this as a bad thing.

More people should have a fire extinguisher at home. Especially if they have hobbies that might increase the risk of a fire. They start at about £20, and if you need one of the more expensive ones, they're only £70ish. Buy a bloody fire extinguisher.

Labour's socials are really going for it today, pointing out that Farage is pro-Putin.

In the work toilets nearest my part of the office there are two brands of hand dryer. One is a Dyson but because James Dyson was a Brexit-backing bellend, I never use it and always switch it off at the wall fuse. Fuck him

Takeaways from #bbclaurak

Good youth initiative from Labour, but needs to go further. McFadden also one of the best communicators in terms of getting messages across

Unclear what the Conservative vision for the UK is beyond mimicking Reform

Your Party… where do you start

So good of Zarah Sultana to call out President Zelenskyy on Laura K this morning. In case she hasn't noticed, Ukraine is fighting off an invasion. She says every war must end. This war must end with a return of all Ukrainian territory to Ukraine. She basically said she doesn't care that Ukraine...

YT Rewind is even more BS than Spotify. I can categorically say that I have not watched a single video on Pokemon Scarlet and Violet or Sword and Shield. Also put my number 3 channel as one I haven't watched in years. Great job, team YouTube.

The GMB union's London Region has welcomed plans by MPs to bar parliamentary candidates from standing if they do not pass an enhanced DBS check.

GMB says "the status quo, which allows candidates who have been convicted of violent and sexual offences to stand for office, presents safeguarding risks"

The UK’s laziest Councillor?

Reform UK’s Councillor Shaun Knowles in Northumberland has been paid £9340.67 since becoming a councillor.

An FOI has shown he’s sent 2, TWO emails since May!

He’s attended just 1 meeting (in Sept) since elected.

Reform UK wasting tax payer money.

Kemi Badenoch says "isn't it the truth" that Keir Starmer only cares about one person's job - "his own"

Starmer: "She wants to put half a million children back into poverty, she thinks the Chancellor should resign because the economy is improving"

As Jonathan Gullis joins Reform UK, it's only fair to remind people of this.

As I've seen someone else say already, it's little things like this that actually show you the kind of man someone his. No ego. No sense of feeling that it has to be him to do it, as he's the PM. Just a genuine act of kindness to allow a young local lad who does good work to do it instead.

Community hero Samuel makes history as the first-ever person to switch on the Christmas lights who is not PM

We are delighted to welcome Jonathan Gullis to Reform UK. I had to calm down Lee Anderson, who was concerned that he may no longer be the thickest twat in the party.

At 11am, I have been told that the school trip I was told I am not going on, I am, in fact, now going on. Lovely. Not like I had my lessons for tomorrow planned or anything like that, and will now have to arrange cover or anything.
