Wow, I made a huge mistake. Bought a book from Routledge because they said it came in EPUB format. Turns out what they mean is that it doesn't come in EPUB format and you have to download a proprietary ebook reader. ffs

According to Aesop's fables, a scholarly owl, prideful in his deep but dry study, argues with the melodious Nightingale, who defends natural beauty and true enjoyment, highlighting the difference between mere knowledge and wisdom.

1/2 Apropos of nothing in particular, I guarantee I will never write a piece of fiction with the "help" of a large language model because a) I spent too many years developing skills to just fuck off now, b) I don't plagiarize other authors, whether intentionally or by way of statistical matches.

In Norse mythology, the robin was known as the 'storm cloud bird' and was sacred to Thor, the god of thunder, lightning, and storms. This likely stemmed from its red coloring, which was linked to the color of lightning or the fire associated with Thor.

There's a post over on Twitter that I've been laughing to myself about. Some right-wing guy is celebrating that a school took down "All-Gender" bathroom signs and replaced them with "Single Occupancy Restroom" signs. And like... it's the same thing, man. You're celebrating a pointless relabeling.

Happy early birthday to me from me. I’m upgrading my 2019 Edison e-bike to the latest model.

I’ve commuted 12 miles round trip to work every day I could for the last 5.5 years, putting over 20,000 miles on my old bike.

Technology has progressed and I’m excited to get my hands on the latest.
