For those who are pro book bans but only in the sense of banning “poorly written” books, if we banned said things.. then we’d never have the Twilight movies.
And that movie series is a cultural feast for the soul.

I thoroughly believe that putting people into boxes to make statements is fundamentally flawed as a discussion tactic. If we're using categories then we need to first agree on definitions and make sure we're working from a shared lexicon not assuming others understand us.

I think some folks are missing the purpose of the posts talking about bigotry and ai. It's not that they're concerned about ppl ACTUALLY being bigoted towards AI but because ppl are casually using hateful language towards something that walks and talks and pretends to be human.
