one thing the emergence of AI video has cast light on for me is how youtube slop videos for children from a few years back, which were shot around SEO keyword optimistion (spiderman chasing pregnant elsa with scissors etc) feel like AI years before the fact.

increasingly think this is likely as basically the only way to draw a line under basically a decade of failed political projects from across the spectrum. maybe a spot of national humiliation and acceptance of the euro will be psychologically beneficial

maybe this is complacent but I think a reform majority would just result in splits and infighting. i think they'd do damage but i just dont see them getting as coordinated as trump has managed to. not saying what comes next would be any good. but i just dont see it
