Blac bloc is a generic strategy to avoid police surveillance technology by dressing in generic black.
BLOCING UP

• Wear all black.
• Try to wear long sleeves & pants
• Cover face & hair
• Cover tattoos/piercings
• Wear black close toed shoes
• Carry a black backpack

BUT WHY?
- To protect others: if you look the same as vulnerable people (e.g. marginalized folx, frontliners) it's harder to identify them.
- It encourages widespread participation: anyone can wear black.
- It promotes unity and solidarity.
Anyone can wear bloc. Don't assume someone's race, risk level, or anything else about a person in bloc.

• Stow all gear
• Bloc and debloc in safe place
