#nowwatching Evil Dead (1981)
What a film. Sam Raimi started as he meant to go on, and like any horror film junkie, this movie has a special place in my heart.
Also staring Bruce Campbell, self proclaimed greatest actor in the world.

Time for a new year and old classics!
#nowwatching Evil Dead (1981)

Freakin' awesome work here. Horrific, sad, thought provoking. A book where I had no idea where it was going (that's a good thing) as the tale unfolded beautifylly, sadly, and horrifyingly (three adverbs in a row!). Audio version rocked.
First book of 2026 is The Buffalo Hunter Hunter by @sgj.bsky.social. I have no regrets about this decision.

It is incomprehensible to me that there are people who just go to an office 240 days out of the year, then spend two weeks at a beach resort somewhere, and that's their life. I know people like this — I know them personally! — and I know there are more of them than me. But I cannot comprehend them.
