The gambling industry is predatory and insidious.

I quit the Parliamentary Sports Club a few weeks ago, when I discovered it had registered as a lobbyist group and was sponsored by the gambling peak body.

The industry will do anything to wield influence on pollies, and hates being called out.

Are we supposed to be grateful to these Republicans for breaking ranks now? After all this time standing solidly behind Trump?

Instead of hope, a better reaction is disgust and disdain. What’s taken them/taking them so long? They are his enablers - they are responsible for his harm.

It’s not either/or. It’s both/and. Paedophiles are horrendous - and parents should know what their kids are doing. I say again, thinking of the pic of DT in a plane surrounded by young girls: how could the parents not know they were on his plane. Not exactly the local park or playground!
