"Oh I just bullshitted it and got an A"

So you understand the material well enough to dash off 8 pages of your thoughts using the terminology we've learned in class and it's actually a pretty coherent draft?

Also: this is basically what comprehensive exams are in grad programs lol

You are the dungeon, dark, foul, and unforgettable

You are the tavern, sheltering through time

You are wilds, the world in its darkness and glory

You are the palace of dreams, witnessing the rise and fall of gods

Four print zines, one world, all you!

Disruptions start to feel a little less disruptive once the table trusts that the table will Be There next week.

One of the really great feelings of running a long game once you've got the rhythm is the sense of comfort in liminality. It's okay if the table feels off one week, there's always next week. It's okay to say "next four sessions are intense, be ready" knowing the grip loosens afterward.

To actually contribute: a long game with a table that has some chemistry naturally finds those moments. They come up in travel, shopping sessions, planning sessions, all of which can be telegraphed by good communication. When I GM long games I frequently talk about next week's vibe

Yes thank you. I like the games and want to play them that is fun for me.

Me writing a wizard text book every time I add a new wizard name only for the text book author to insert an academic slight against them then I add a bolded glossary term that is also a mechanic for the rpg and the named wizard discovered it but the author is still being petty: teehee *feet kicking*

I've done a few multi-year campaigns and usually we travel a lot of places, do a few sub plots that add up to arcs which add up to the grand campaign over like 2-3 years. The fact that a single combat will take up 1.2-2 hours of a 3ish hour session really pads it out too.
