So they say they gave the developer feedback, it was (allegedly) implemented, and they said they would not reconsider it? Why even bother giving them feedback then?

Based on content in the store page, we told the developer we would need to review the build itself," said a Valve spokesperson. "This happens sometimes if content on the store page causes concern that the game itself might not fall within our guidelines. After our team played through the build and reviewed the content, we gave the developer feedback about why we couldn't ship the game on Steam, consistent with our onboarding rules and guidelines. A short while later the developer asked us to reconsider the review, and our internal content review team discussed that extensively and communicated to the developer our final decision that we were not going to ship the game on Steam."

demonschool credits all 145 people who touched the game over the course of its multi-year dev cycle AND explains what exactly they contributed. the rest of the games industry, which commonly omits people from credits entirely, should be taking notes
“We worked [on Hyper Gunsport] with a localization company that refused to give the names of the people that actually did the work; they just wanted to have their company name in there,” Sheffield said. “They say they do that because ‘It's the standard’ and ‘to avoid poaching’ or whatever, but I hate that and think it's total BS. … I've also seen a lot of folks complain about how they weren't credited on a game because they'd left the studio before the game they worked on was finished. And indeed, our lead 3D artist left two years ago. But he's still the first artist credited because he set the style and visual tone for a lot of the game. Not working on the game to the very end doesn't negate the work he did.” The more Sheffield thought about how to meet the needs of so many different types of contributors – and discussed the matter on social media – the more a comprehensive, detail-oriented approach to crediting started to make sense. “That had all been percolating in the back of my mind as we got close to finishing, and then it just sort of hit me as it came time for me to write the credits,” he said. “I discussed this approach with the team and everyone was fine with it, so we just went for it. We always want to credit everyone that touched the game, so even though the core team was 7 or 8 people at any given time, we credited around 145 people in Demonschool. Who cares if it's a lot of people? Who cares if it's long? They all did something and they deserve credit. And you basically can tell who the core team was by reading the descriptions. None of us are precious about that anyway.”

The AI bubble is so out of control most RAM manufacturers have stopped manufacturing RAM for pcs and shifted to high bandwidth RAM for AI computing. There's now such a severe shortage that prices have jump 3-4x in just a month and it is impacting the ability to supply PCs and gaming consoles.

Lammy’s reforms would cover all prosecutions, including those brought by the Serious Fraud Office and the Environment Agency. It is anticipated that the government will also remove the automatic right to appeal against convictions. Magistrates are set to have their sentencing powers significantly increased from the maximum prison term of six months to 24 months. Under the heading “what do these proposals mean for your department?”, Lammy told government departments that the plans would not compromise suspects’ rights and suggested that “there is no right to trial by jury”. The move marks a departure from Lammy’s past views. In a social media comment posted five years ago, he said: “Trials are a fundamental part of our democratic settlement. Criminal trials without juries are a bad idea.”

Labour are putting in place all of the tools and eliminating fundamental protections that will enable Reform to come in 2029 and govern in an overtly fascist and totalitarian way. No jury trials, digital ID, elimination of the ECHR etc. It feels intentional.

This will only end badly.
