I feel real bad for Grasshopper Manufacture. There's the Lollipop Chainsaw remake whose developer says there'll be "no DEI" in the game. Then there's the Let it Die sequel that's jammed up with AI. They have nothing to do with/no input on either game. This is what happens when you don't own your IP!

I have many thoughts about this, one is I can't help but think this is all just shining a light on how games are still being held to wildly different standards than other media like film. I've played very few games like HORSES but watched so many films like it (as a connoisseur of arthouse horror).

btw this little nugget explains a lot of the 'why' on inscrutable replies online. lots and lots of people are actually talking to themselves. your post is a jumping off point for that, they don't really think about it as being in a conversation with *you*
tumblr is an interesting ecosystem on this thanks to the tagging system. you can and will get dumbass replies in the reblogs, obviously. however, thanks to the tagging system, people will often instead talk out loud to themselves in the tags, instead of to *you*, making for a different dynamic.

You can see vultures don't have bulky feet and talons built for grasping/carrying like other raptors. Their more chicken-like feet are meant for bracing on food to pull at it with their powerful beaks, instead.
