You'd think people would have learned by now that social media video views are an entirely garbage metric.
For example, Facebook counts a view as 3 seconds, even when a clip is autoplayed, so merely scrolling slowly would count. And X is way less transparent than Facebook.

He *had* a guy at that dealership—probably someone he could talk to in French—but that day he couldn’t wait for him, needed to replace a worksite truck immediately, so he was stuck with sales staff who didn’t know him.
My grandfather walked onto a car lot straight off a job site, overalls, sawdust in hair, 5’0, immigrant who barely spoke English. Needed a work pickup. Salesman kept steering to the shitty used, but he knew what he needed. When they sent him to financing, he just pulled the cash out of his pockets.
I don’t dress up anywhere. I love it when the bank employee looks down her nose at me because I look like a bum and then sees my accounts on the screen. It makes me happy.

She may not win, but her coattails effect might save the school districts and city councils from the local Basket of Deplorables, and putting the Fear of God into them may give them pause about their gerrymandering lines because they can’t be sure what’s “safe.”
And being able to run a competitive race this deep in Trump country will hopefully invigorate Democratic contenders elsewhere

We definitely didn’t leverage this as a weapon enough in 2017-2021. Might be too late to matter now, but it should be on the table.
Just a reminder that in addition to Trump refusing to exercise because he thinks the body is like an alkaline battery with a lifetime store of energy so anytime you do anything you steal that energy and it cannot be recharged, he's also a germaphobe who is afraid of being poisoned.

There’s an unspoken “how to be a man” thing built into Scouting, but what I learned from it was that true masculinity means nurturing and mentoring people who are younger than you, and leveraging whatever privilege you have to help anyone in need. What the hell does Hegseth think Scouts is?
I don’t remember “promoting manliness” as being mentioned in my scout oaths.

Dionysus has some hilarious boons in Hades 2. On a slow weapon, the 5 55 or 555 damage boom is pretty bad, but on something like the jetpack or knives, when you can spam attacks, it’s brutal. (also goes well with Hermes’ +40% luck buff).
