If Labour won’t nationalise water, their “big overhaul” is a con.

Sewage in our rivers. Bills going up. Profits protected.

Public services should be in public hands.

Naturism and family aren’t opposites...
They’re allies.

Naturism teaches something powerful from an early age:
that bodies are normal, diverse, and worthy of respect.
Shame has no place to grow.
Naturism isn’t about what you remove.
It’s about what you teach.

The way men see women's bodies isn't hard-wired biology - it's learned. And if it can be learned, it can be unlearned. New blog post:

These three drivers have been referred to the Central Ticket Office by GMP Traffic for a fixed penalty, course or prosecution at court. All in the last week. In each of these cases, the driver saved less than 5 seconds by overtaking without waiting. The bus driver could have just moved over a bit.

The details from the day and the victim statements are terrifying, but it's important that this is seen in the context of everyday, mundane road violence, not just as some one-off.

Each day I see aggressive driving and widespread disdain for those on foot or on bike, seen to be in the way.

NEW by @benquinn75.bsky.social with some minor help from me*: Reform said last week they had saved £331m at councils they run, but they have yet to produce a list showing how, and what information they have given is both £260m short and not 100% convincing.

So much of our infrastructure, planning, environmental, and road safety measures seem to be based around politicians' fear of slightly inconveniencing easily-angered motorists. Pedestrians, cyclists, and public transport users are barely considered in their calculations.
