And if you’ll look to your left beyond the Grandma Couch, you’ll see a group of nerds in their native habitat playing a “roleplaying game”. Was worried about the animals being brown on wood paneled walls but I think it came out fine! Peep the Mustelid Science Theater poster lmao

Looking at old family photos over the holidays gave me an idea late last year. Apologies to anyone who actually remembers 1979 well enough to comment on the accuracy.

Be kind, rewind! I also drew an indie video store a year ago. See how many references you can spot. This piece is another appearance by my first OC, a cheetah named Keni.

A competent opposition political party would cut together the footage of what ICE had been doing in the twin cities with Mike Johnson saying "ICE is doing what ICE is designed to do" and have it in ads all across the country
Mike Johnson comes out against additional guardrails on ICE as Democrats call for it.

“I think there's a lot of Democrats playing games right now with national security and with law enforcement. And I think it's dangerous. Ice is doing what ice is designed to do by its very name.”

White supremacy explains many apparent contradictions.

Conservative calls for free speech were always about freedom to use slurs without sanction.

Calls for small government were always about denying Black folks rights and state protections.

This is conservatives achieving their goals.
The so-called party of free speech and small government is happily supporting armed, masked government agents conducting “show me your papers” stops and brutalizing U.S. citizens.

Their real “party values” are terrorizing communities of color and anyone else who speaks out.

Remember this.

Rebleat to make a Roman Statue PFP have an aneurysm
Final slide of my first-day lecture for my City of Rome course, on how embracing immigrants and refugees was official policy, a core component of the state religion, and subsequently seen as key to its early success and strength.

Scott Adams: Yeah so this was my Dilbert branded burrito. It had lots of vitamins in it and no meat. I swear they were good, unlike the frozen food nowadays

Hulk Hogan, (boiling in a cauldron of blood): We could have sold these at Planet Hollywood, brother. I bet the moms would have loved these. HH

Many now know Colvin's story wasn't publicized because of respectability politics, namely that she was unmarried and pregnant, but many don't know that Colvin was one of the main plaintiffs in Browder v. Gayle, the federal case ruling that segregation on public transportation is unconstitutional. /1
WASHINGTON (AP) — Claudette Colvin, whose refusal to move seats on a segregated bus helped spark the civil rights movement, dies at 86.

Just like Rush Limbaugh hated Black people so much he would rather die than live through another BHM, Scott Adams finally found a permanent way to separate himself from Black people lmao (but are they gonna bury him in a big Dilburrito wrapper?)

When I was 7 or 8, I got a picture book about an enslaved family, I even remember a specific page and line that just stuck with me & continues to stick with me. I was also a few years younger than Emmett Till when I learned about him.
I was learning about lynching at ages when I had a sippy cup & nap time. White people don't know so much about this country's history of terror until late in life. They're not equipped for this moment without the cultural memory. They won't listen to those who have it.

In reality, the Kurdish community is too small to threaten anyone's safety. And statistically, in Japan, immigrants don't commit crimes at a greater rate than citizens (which makes sense, given that getting caught means certain deportation).
