I guess dosing Brussels sprouts with mono-sodium glutimate is one way of getting kids to eat them.

Aw, blooming football yet again. 😡

The @warwickshirecc.bsky.social or their contractors have made a right flipping mess by cutting down all the #biodiversity supporting plants and leaving a rubbish strewn embankment as the "Welcome to Stratford-upon-Avon" outside the railway station. #FFS
View towards town from the top of the railway station steps down from Alcester Road showing a devastated embankment. Looking back up at the embankment towards the college, with litter all over it. The awful result of a decimated embankment facing towards the town.

Or if the AI bubble bursts like the dotcom one did, make a huge loss for their investors. Which, er, might well be us little people via our pension schemes.

The phrase "no shit Sherlock" sort of encapsulates the obviousness of this to everyone outside of the venture capital/stocks-n-shares ecosystem.

You take it easy - we don't want you wrecking your new bionic knee!

Incidentally for the screws the "categories" are currently broken down by slotted or posidrive/philips and then within each 25mm or shorter, or longer than 25mm. As we don't know what people will be building yet, we might need to further separate these down, and its better than all mixed up!

Yes, I heard you were thinking of being silly and trying to climb the stairs! I supervised Ben whilst he was in there screwing some shelves together and vacuumed the Makerspace floor so its nice and tidy ready for your return (so you can cover it in sawdust!)

And now you've shared it with our brains, so thank you for that.

I've just seen a what looked like a white #electric van with a front grill that was suspiciously like a London EV taxi cab. Are they branching out into carrying cargo as well as people?

Just spent a pleasant evening at the Charnwood Eco Hub sorting nuts, washers, bolts and screws for their forthcoming Makerspace. This was the second pass through these and I had help from some of the other volunteers. Not yet decided how "fine" the categories will need to be yet, but getting better.

Starmer & his ministers don't seem to understand that clamping down on peaceful protest may push some people towards less pleasant & democratic outlets for frustrations, which is worrying.

Or they do understand that and it's part of their plan to discredit opponents, which is even more worrying.

As a fully paid up chap, I'm failing to see the problem here. She sounds lovely - definitely a "keeper". 👍
