There are literally vacant skyscrapers left abandoned on beach-front property only because of sunk-cost and greed. So many empty apartments and homes are literally just SITTING there without renters or buyers, and real-estate businesses hoarding empty homes to drive the value up. Its all bs.

I remember watching a video on the empty (often going on years/decades) apartments in NYC, and how it contributed to the housing crisis in the city.
Makes me wonder if it’s why we’ve been having such a bad housing crisis in the first place.

This is actually interesting bc my dad grew up white in 1960s Louisiana and when he tries to explain why he wasn’t as racist as 90% of his neighbors, he cites his experience working as a teenager in his dad’s integrated truck yards and seeing that all workers were the same.

There is an entire host of political parties across the world that believes in democracy, human rights, and the common dignity of all people. All of these groups are opposed to Trump and want to stand up to him. The fact that many senior Democrats do not recognize this is shameful.
