Let this build empathy inside you.

Recognize that this situation is horrific when ICE does it to immigrant children, and when cops do it to Black children.

Recognize that ICE agents doing these acts to make MAGA happy is bad. Cops doing this to make Dem voters happy, is also bad.

Photo shows 5 Greenlandic women in their national dress with beaded yokes. In the late 1920s Norway sought to possess East Greenland. Norwegian knitting designer Annichen Sibbern Bøhn designed a sweater which mimicked the Greenlandic beaded yoke. And that's how yoked sweaters became a thing. 🧵

To all the university execs allocating money to AI systems in to our learning management systems:

What we actually need is

1. Electrical outlets for student laptops
2. Extra batteries for the classroom mic
3. An on/off switch for the lights above the whiteboard.
4. Cleared sidewalks.

I'd constantly see made-in-the-USA cars with "Out of a job yet? Keep buying foreign!" bumper stickers in small-town Canada. And I'd want to ask them, "define foreign".

So much of dumb Canadian conservativism is cosplaying as dumb American conservatives, but half of it gets garbled in translation

#2 You can find a rogue transmitter in minutes with any $50 scanner. You're only painting a giant target on yourself with zero payoff

Everyone thinks the Y2K panic thing was an overreaction.

The truth is, nothing happened because a lot of tech guys saw the problem impending and put in lots of overtime hours to patch it in advance.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
Let’s be clear — if Trump doesn’t end up invading Greenland, or doesn’t end up doing any other of his seemingly unlimited batshit insane, illegal and corrupt crimes, it WON’T be “evidence that we were overreacting.” It will ONLY be BECAUSE WE DIDN’T UNDER-REACT.
