Excellent advice. It is gut-wrenching to watch this go all wrong.
This is my yearly PSA that, no matter how old you are, you should have a basic health directive and will. The forms are free online in California. The number of senior citizens in my neighborhood with no directives and no plan who are already a little off the rails is staggering. A short rant 1/

The turkey had to make a donation to Trump fund to get a pardon, as per usual.

BREAKING: as predicted, Republican Skandalakis has moved to dismiss the Fulton County RICO case against Trump et al.
This isn’t good news IMO. When Willis was disqualified from prosecuting fraudulent elector Burt Jones because she hosted a fundraiser for his opponent, Skandalakis took that case for himself and disappeared it. I imagine he’ll do the same here.
BREAKING: Pete Skandalakis, executive director of the Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council of Georgia, has appointed himself to prosecute the case against Trump and others in Fulton County.

The move follows a court ruling that disqualified Fani Willis from pursuing the case.

here's how I made these guys (and you can too!), starting with supplies. you'll need:

• reasonably sturdy paper (think cardstock)
• non-woven fabric, like felt
• sashiko or embroidery thread (multiple colors)
• an embroidery needle
• stuffing (I use textile scraps)
• twine or cord (for hanging)
making some Christmas ornaments for sharing :)

Reminder that UK libel law sucks compared to the First Amendment & Times v. Sullivan, and this is why Trump in his first term said he wanted to "open up" U.S. libel law.
NEWS --> BBC confirms to me that they did edit a line out of historian @rutgerbregman.com's speech. It called Trump "the most openly corrupt president in US history."

BBC also confirms this was done on the advice of lawyers. So Trump's threats worked.

First, British Broadcasting Corporation execs resigned after Trump complained about a segment. Now the BBC edited out a line from a historian that was critical of Trump. Where does this end?

Because I live in the US capital of roundabouts, this is painful to watch.

Roundabouts save millions in long-term maintenance compared to signals. This move is a safety downgrade and a blatant fiscal mistake.
